Land 17 - Monoprint Landscape 1/1 (Mounted)
Image size: 12cm x 16cms. Mount size: 31cms x 34cms.
Media: Monoprint. This print is an original work, hand printed onto Somerset Satin paper and signed. Each print from this series is unique but each image also shares some commonality of marks. This is due to being printed from the same plate throughout the series which had various drypoint lines embedded.
Process: It was created by using dry point lines scratched onto a metal plate and then inking up the plate cleanly before adding more ink to the surface in a painterly way. I may repeat the processs a few times before printing it with my etching press.
Shipping: The print is mounted onto archival board, wrapped in cellophane, bubble wrapped and placed within a cardboard box, unframed.
Notes: As with all fine art, I recommend that this print is protected by framing and by hanging in a location where it is not exposed to direct sunlight, extremes of temperature or high humidity.
