SCAPE SERIES 2020 - 2022
My Scape series of landscape images started during the first Covid Lockdown in 2020. I had just returned from a three week artist residency in the West coast of Ireland at Cill Railiag in County Kerry. Each monotype print is unique. This work is influenced by experiencing the forceful weather fronts on this remote landscape over the years. I am interested in the idea that we continually attempt to control our environment in order to survive despite the chaotic impact of nature on us over time.
